It was a fun day. It's Arbor Day. In keeping with the "holiday", I planted another Honeycrisp apple tree along with some little spruce that the Nursery was giving away today. Had lots of fun working in the yard. Oh, had to dump water on all the new trees, as the storm which was predicted for yesterday never did arrive.
I sat out on the front porch this evening. The wind had died down and the sun was out. The sounds of spring were everywhere. The frogs and the birds were all singing. It really is amazing how much glorious "noise" spring brings with it.
