Stormy Weather

This summer has had its share of stormy weather. The way that the storm clouds build in the late afternoon is one of my favorite sights. The giant towers of clouds billowing above the landscape is mesmerizing to me. In my travels around the countryside in the evening, I like to look at the farms, the lush green cornfields and the giant piles of clouds.

Busy Dizzy Busy

This summer has been exceptionally busy.

There has been very little time to stop and smell the roses. As I run around delivering the boys here and there, back at home the gardens continue to grow and quietly "do their thing". I am looking forward to homegrown tomatoes!

The baby chicks get larger every day. They are just now getting their adult feathers. They are a very pretty, comical batch of birds.

I like to spend some time writing, so I am going to try again to make entries on a daily basis. We will see how that goes~
